While other countries are trying to invent a coronavirus drug or vaccine, it turns out that there is already a preparation in Poland that can help patients in the fight. The ministry confirms and issues new recommendations.

The President of the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products Grzegorz Cessak issued a decision to add a new therapeutic indication for Arechin. It will be supportive therapy for beta coronavirus infections such as SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV and SARS-CoV-2.
The manufacturer, Adamed Pharma, ensures that the drug will be available and has been secured for the needs of the Ministry of Health and the Material Reserves Agency.
